Created in pirate toronto’s state-of-the-art studios by our director Tracey Hoyt, our pirate toronto engineers and most importantly, you. Before your session you’ll discuss your level of commercial voice-over experience with the director, as well as your age range, casting category, goals and the types of scripts you’d like to work on. An impressive range of ad copy from the pirate toronto script library will be carefully chosen for you. Later, music and SFX will be added to enhance your fabulous new pirate voice reel.
Your session includes:
- (30 minutes)Working through your copy with the director

(60 minutes)
A full record in the studio (8 –10 spots) with the director

Playback of your best takes, a collaborative rough edit of your hero takes
(90 minutes) with the director and the engineer & the addition of music, if there’s time.
Timeline
After your session, your new material will be mixed and edited.
Within 3 business days, you’ll receive an email-able .mp3 version of your reel.
At this point you’ll have 2 business days to request a revision, if necessary. For example: “I’d love to open with Beer guy and close with Hapless husband. And let’s cut Handsome Guy.”
Once the final polish is complete, you’ll have an .mp3 and a CD version of your pirate voice reel within 3 business days. The whole process takes just over a week.

Some industry types call it “the wow factor.” We’ll help you get there with the pirate voice reel refresh. Let our pirate voice director and engineer help you bring your reel back to life by incorporating your new material into a fresh reel that reflects who you are and what you can sell now.

If you’d like to bring in previously recorded clips for consideration, you are welcome to. They will be evaluated in studio during the session to see if they’ll fit in with the material recorded there.
